where to eat , Seri Manjung

Seri Manjung is part of the Government's overall plan to redistribute the population to reflect more accurately the racial composition of the country's different races. Today the massive site of Seri Manjung where rubber and oil palm plantations used to exist in the 1980s has given way to modern government buildings and recently there has been a surge in new food outlets offering a good range of gastronomical attractions for everybody!

We present below a few outstanding choices to visitors where we have personally enjoyed their diversified menu. All within a short walking distance from each other in the township.

the hard to find different nasi dagang , a brownish glutinuous rice dish with the curry and fish.
You will need to slowly acquire its slightly sticky taste before you get addicted to it !

find it here in this Malay restaurant with the most approprite local name ! Near the Shell petrol station and the Immigration Department. Restoran Seri Manjung .

the colorful nasi kandar spread with more than 25 different dishes of an Indian Muslim restaurant. Restoran Biriyani.

Opened just 2 months ago , their 2nd spacious 24 hours branch beside the Sitiawan-Lumut main road is doing a good business . In line with current trends free wifi (internet line) has also been installed here .

get it here in this wifi enabled Malaccan inspired kopitiam , just opposite the UMW Toyota centre. Here Manjung Kopitiam boasts of the finest old style Malacca black coffee outside Malacca ! Try it to see whether you agree or not !
